[…] Today, environmental sustainability is a relevant topic in every economic sector. However, recent global developments have caused a slowdown in investments in this area, as often the most sustainable solutions require greater economic efforts. We discussed this with Emanuele Garrasi, CEO of Agriplast Spa.

“In the greenhouse sector,” the CEO continued, “various materials and products essential for operations have thus undergone significant price increases, such as plastic films, with prices rising already compared to 2021. We have indeed expanded the range of products offered, introducing alternative plastic films to those already existing with a reduced thickness but at the same time, guaranteeing the same performances, both mechanically and optically and in terms of durability.”
